What is CVR?

Conversion Rate. Percentage of store visitors who complete a purchase. Below 1% is concerning (industry average is 1.5–2.5% for ecom). Above 3% is strong for cold paid traffic. CVR fluctuates heavily at low volume — requires 200+ sessions before it's statistically meaningful.

Why it matters: CVR is the multiplier on all your ad spend. Doubling CVR from 1% to 2% halves your effective CPA without touching your campaigns. It's often easier to improve CVR than to improve ROAS.

Panic-changing a store after 2 days of low CVR at 30 daily sessions. With small sample sizes, variance alone can explain dramatic CVR swings. Measure CVR over at least 200 sessions before making page changes.
