What is CTR (Link)?

Metrics

Link Click-Through Rate. Percentage of people who saw your ad and clicked the link to your store. Below 0.5% after $30 spend = creative or hook problem. 0.8–2% is normal. Above 2% is strong. Always use Link CTR, not "All CTR" — the latter includes clicks on your profile, video plays, and reactions.

Why it matters: CTR is the bridge between your creative's ability to stop the scroll and your store's ability to convert. Low CTR = fix the creative. Good CTR + low CVR = fix the store or offer.

Optimizing for CTR as a success metric instead of as a diagnostic tool. The goal is profitable purchases, not clicks. A high CTR that doesn't lead to purchases just means you're paying for expensive curiosity.
