You need to diagnose where in the funnel the drop-off happens before you can fix anything. This requires actual data, not guessing.

  • Check Shopify Analytics → Conversion Funnel: Sessions → Product page views → Add to cart → Checkout started → Purchased. Find the biggest drop-off percentage between each step.
  • CRO Tools
  • Sessions → Product page view below 50%: Traffic is landing somewhere other than your product page. Check your ad destination URL.
  • Product page view → ATC below 5%: Your product page isn't convincing. Most common issues: weak headline, no social proof above the fold, price shock, no clear value proposition in the first screen.
  • ATC → Checkout below 60%: Unexpected costs at cart. Hidden shipping fee, no PayPal, trust issues.
  • Checkout started → Purchased below 50%: Payment friction. Card form trust issues, confusing checkout flow, slow load time on mobile.

Each stage has a specific fix. Don't guess — find the actual drop-off point first, then apply the fix for that specific layer.
