What is Midnight Launch?

Meta Ads

The practice of scheduling new ad campaigns to start at midnight (local or target timezone) so that Meta's algorithm has a full 24-hour data cycle on day one. Campaigns launched mid-day have their first day's data truncated, making day-1 performance less representative and day-2 comparison harder.

Why it matters: Launching at midnight gives you clean, comparable daily data from day one. It also means your budget doesn't get partially spent in the afternoon learning phase — the entire first day's budget is used in a complete delivery cycle.
