What is Frequency?

The average number of times each person in your audience has seen your ad. When frequency climbs above 3–4, the same people are seeing the same creative repeatedly — which is a symptom of audience saturation and drives CPM up as delivery efficiency falls.

Why it matters: High frequency (above 3) with declining ROAS is the clearest signal that you need fresh creative. It means you've reached most of your willing buyers and are now re-reaching people who already decided not to buy.
