What is Creative Brief?

Creative

A document given to video editors or AI generation tools that specifies the hook, the problem to address, the product angle, the key benefit, the call to action, and visual requirements for an ad. The quality of the brief is the primary determinant of creative output quality — a weak brief produces weak creative regardless of the creator's technical skill.

Sending a creator your product link and a vague direction ("make something authentic"). A proper brief includes: (1) exact persona, (2) verbatim first 3-second hook, (3) specific pain narrative, (4) product mechanism, (5) the outcome/transformation, (6) the CTA. Without these six elements, you get generic content that performs generically.
