What is Voice of Customer (VOC)?

The actual language, phrases, and emotional vocabulary that real customers use to describe their problems and desired outcomes. Sourced from Amazon reviews, Reddit threads, TikTok comments, and Quora answers. The most powerful copy comes from reflecting customers' exact words back to them.

Why it matters: Customers convert on recognition, not persuasion. When an ad says exactly what they already think about their problem in exactly the words they use to describe it, they feel understood — and that feeling precedes the purchase.

Writing ad copy from your own perspective as the product seller. You know too much about the product. Mine VOC before writing a single word of copy — let customers write the brief.
